The one thing I love about the blackberry is that it's not the iphone. Still... I don't pay me phone bills, so for now I'm an iPhone man. Perhaps the boss will buy me one of these fancy battery packs. Boss man? You listening? You know who you are.

Re: The iPhone post: Fixin what’s broke

maybe your prayers are answered by the Pre

http://www.youtube.com/watc...

http://i.gizmodo.com/512687...

got to love the breathless "could this be the iPhone killer" angle.

Re: The iPhone post: Fixin what’s broke

my outlook calendar synchs with my iphone no prob - we don't even run exchange i just point to owa - outlook web access. I guess we dont require a vpn for that, cant remember if Y! does or not.

Re: The iPhone post: Fixin what’s broke

thanks -- yahoo requries VPN to get a cup of coffee. I ended up downloading
this google sync app:

http://www.google.com/suppo...

Of course my PC has to be running to sync it to google, and then I need an
internet connection on the iphone to access the calendar so not exactly
ideal. It does do two way sync, so I should be able to add appointments
from the phone and have them replicate on exchange.

I can actually connect my iphone via VPN and do a true exchange sync, but
that's a MAJOR PITA since yahoo uses the RSA keys for VPN.

Re: The iPhone post: Fixin what’s broke

MD does have history of sending drunk emails.

Re: The iPhone post: Fixin what’s broke

I'm still a fan of the two phone approach. One for work, one for life. It's nice to keep those things separated so that I don't get sucked into a stupid work situation that distracts me from my personal life. Also keeps me from sending drunk work emails - always a dangerous thing.

Re: The iPhone post: Fixin what’s broke

In fairness, my 2 weeks of cold turkey on the blackberry occurred while on
vacation. Now that I'm back at work I may have to go back to the dueling
phones. What I need is a good way to sync my exchange calendar so I can
easily access it on the iphone - maybe sync with google calendar? Any
ideas?
