my son and i were there to watch ben and his band do letterman. we got there early and watched them rehearse with Paul Shaffer who did the "honky tonk piano" part in the song. it was fun. ben's such a nice guy in addition to being a fantastic musician.

I am bummed that I pre-ordered the CD and didn't get it today. With a 7am flight tomorrow, I guess I am SOL. He really should have sent me the bits when I bought it, or at least on release day? All I wanted were the bits anyway, ya know?
At least I found it on LALA and pasted it as an update to this post. I am digging the new LALA design and the 1 free listen per song (in the universe) is the way friction free music discovery was meant to be!
